Loretto Telecom offers Lifeline Service to eligible customers. Lifeline Service provides eligible residential customers with a $9.25 federal discount on monthly broadband internet service or a bundle with phone and internet (subject to current minimum service standards) or $5.25 for standalone voice service. Exceptions may apply to the internet service speed package, please contact Loretto Telecom to inquire. Lifeline Service is available to all residential customers who meet the following requirements:
A household is eligible for the Lifeline discount if the customer’s annual household income is at or below 135% of the federal poverty guidelines or receives benefits or has a child that receives benefits that resides in the customer’s household through one of the following programs:
- Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
- Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
- Federal Public Housing Assistance (FPHA)
- Veterans or Survivors Pension Benefit
To submit an application for Lifeline Service, customers may apply by going to the National Verifier website at CheckLifeline.org/lifeline and creating an account or sending an application by mail with copies of your proof of eligibility to the Lifeline Support Center, P. O. Box 7081, London, KY 40742. USAC will contact you by email from LifelineSupport@usac.org or mail from the Lifeline Support Center to let you know if you qualify for Lifeline. You may also contact our office at (931) 853-4351 for assistance with the Lifeline Application. The lifeline discount is limited to one discount per household.
